Setting up data roaming The watch supports overseas roaming and localization of the phone card. Please make sure you have completed the following steps before leaving mainland China.
It is recommended to call 950800 to check the product's international roaming support.
Complete the binding between the cell phone and the child watch
Please complete the binding process between your cell phone Huawei account and your child watch within mainland China (the binding operation cannot be completed outside mainland China).
Enabling International Roaming Service
The phone card installed on the child watch needs to be activated for international roaming service in advance, please consult the local operator for details.
Due to the differences in network environments and operators in different countries or regions, please check with the operator to see if their roaming service supports the country or region you are traveling to.
The roaming service may be delayed in taking effect, so please check with the operator before traveling.
Turning on the Kids Data Roaming Switch
Turn on the mobile data and data roaming switch on your child watch. Setting method:
Short press HOME button or press button or swipe left to enter the function list on the main interface of kids' watch , tap Settings > Advanced Settings, and follow the on-screen prompts to enter the password for advanced settings of kids' watch.
If you forget the password, please ask the administrator to enter SmartCare and tap Device > More > Watch Settings > Watch Advanced Settings Password to check.
In the Advanced Settings screen, tap Wireless & Networks and turn on the Data roaming switch.
Modify the phone number and contact information of your children's watch
To make sure international calls work, please add +86 to the phone number of the watch and 0086 to the phone number of the contact in SmartCare app.Setting method:
In Smart Care app, tap Communication below, tap your baby's avatar to enter the baby information interface, and select watch number to edit.
In Smart Care app, tap Device > More > Contacts, select the corresponding contact to edit.
